About the Author
Marion Dane Bauer is the author of many books for young readers, including the Newbery Honor book On My Honor and the New York Times bestseller My Mother Is Mine. Her other titles include A Mama for Owen, If You Were Born a Kitten, Grandmother’s Song, and Thank You for Me! She has retired from the faculty of the Vermont College of Fine Arts MFA program in Writing for Children and Young Adults where she was the first Faculty Chair. She lives in Eden Prairie, Minnesota, and can be reached at MarionDaneBauer.com.John Wallace’s formal training was not in illustration, but rather theology, which he received at Cambridge University. Great little book! My first graders loved this book! I have it on Kindle, and I must say that the formatting is great. It is a lovely addition to my classroom library, and it works great on Kindle for independent reading sessions.
Cute and simple explanation of rainbow for any kid under 7 years old and younger. It was such a fun read and perfect length for bedtime.
My grandson had become fascinated with rainbows in a Rainbow Brite book. We read it too many time so I looked for another book that had rainbows in it. This book is advanced and my grandson doesn’t understand everything but he loves talking about the rainbows and rain.
Not very interesting to our granddaughter.
