great map - excellent details, lots of highlighted detailed areas and suggested tours to take.
I have always liked the Michelin maps and this map was another good purchase. When used with a travel book (in our case, Lonely Planet) it helped with our 10-day trip in which we drove over 1,200 miles. It noted a few sights that the travel book didn't mention which we used as filler for our planned journey around Iceland.
This is a great map! We are going to Iceland this summer and wanted a map to plan out our road trip around the Ring Road. It is a very large map, not sure we will be able to use it while we're actually on the road in Iceland, but we have it hung up on our wall for now and are using it to put pins in everything we want to see while we're there, for this purpose it is wonderful!
Large paper map was good for planning our trip to Iceland. I highlighted our route and various sights along the way. This map will be well used while we tour Iceland.
The map is pretty accurate, but it is way too big. So I made letter size copies of various section around the ring road and flip through them as I drove around the country and it worked like a charm.
Used in Iceland for driving, very well marked road #s and the symbols were helpful too, would not have left home without it!!
This map was a lot bigger than I had expected, and bulky. I did not bring this on my trip but I did use it to help me plan it. It's a map, it is what it is.
Used for trip planning. It shows attractions as well as roads. Seems to give me all the info I need.
