Meh. It is sorely lacking in information. We thought we'd try it because it's slim; we were expecting a paired down version of a more thorough guidebook. It covers all of the most obvious things which are easily discovered online, but nothing besides. The inside flap has a basic street map for downtown, but there's no separate map, and few landmarks noted on the flap-map. The most basic book for Vancouver at least deserves a good street map with metro stations marked. It is such a great city for public transportation, but you can't find details about that either. We've used the LP book previously, and think it's much better.
